This page explains how MyDIYCalc handles information when you browse the website, use a calculator or contact us.

Calculator inputs

The measurements you enter into the calculators are processed in your browser. The calculator form does not send those measurements to our server.

Search and normal website requests

When you submit a search, the search words form part of the page request. Hosting services may keep ordinary request logs, such as the requested address, time, IP address and browser information, to operate and protect the website.

Cookies and storage

The admin dashboard uses an essential session cookie to keep authorised users signed in and to protect forms. This cookie is not needed to run the public calculators.

Advertising and analytics

If advertising or analytics services are enabled by the website owner, those providers may process information under their own policies and use cookies or similar technology. The tools and providers in use can change; contact us if you would like details about the current configuration.

Messages you send

If you email us, your email provider and ours handle that message. We use the information you choose to send to understand and respond to your request. Please send only the details needed for the issue.

External links and your questions

Other websites linked from our guides have their own privacy practices. For questions about this website or a message you sent, write to support@mydiycalc.com.
